Privately is an alternative iweb browser that helps you keep your personal web browsing private.

How does Privately help me protect my privacy?

Privately helps you keep your personal web browsing private by doing three things 1) Web pages are not added to the history list ; 2) Searches are not added to the menu in the Safari search field ; and 3) Cookies are discarded immediately. As soon as you press the Home button (the round button under the screen), all web page history in Privately is automatically erased.

Does Privately prevent my employer from spying on me?

Privately makes it easy to keep your personal and work browsing separate. Please keep in mind that your corporate IT department may still be able to monitor your internet activity. If you connect via WiFi or VPN, your connection may go through a corporate network which may have employee surveillance equipment. Please be sure to check your company’s employee privacy policy.

Can my partner find out if I’m cheating?

We hope you’ll use only Privately for good! We wouldn’t want to play any role in breaking up your marriage or your relationship. Divorce lawyers are expensive and separating is painful so please stay faithful to your spouse or partner.

Why can’t I use password protected sites?

Most password protected services (such as GMail, Hotmail, or Yahoo) use cookies to remember that you logged in and keep track of who you are. Because Privately immediately discards all cookies, these sites cannot be used with Privately.
